health of our mouth, teeth and gums is to our general health.
What is the connection between oral health and overall health?
Like other parts of our body, our mouth has got bacteria- mostly harmless. Good oral hygiene practices keeps these bacterial count under control. However, without proper oral hygiene, bacteria can reach levels that might lead to oral infections such as tooth decay and gum diseases.

- Brush your teeth twice a day.
- Clean spaces between your teeth every day with floss.
- Use mouthwash to remove the particles left after brushing and flossing.
- Replace your toothbrush every three months or sooner if bristles are worn.
- Snack smart- Eat healthy fibre rich diet and limit the food with added sugar.
